Policy & Service Terms

Clear rules for global book orders, refunds, and shipping issues

These policies explain how RusLibrary processes orders, handles cancellations, and resolves delivery problems. The goal is simple: no surprises after checkout.

Important U.S. shipping notice

The U.S. postal lane is temporarily paused while carriers adjust to new import rules. If you place a U.S. order, we reserve the books and dispatch them as soon as the lane reopens.

If waiting no longer works for you, email us and we will issue a refund promptly.

Authentic editions

We source from publishers and trusted distributors and aim to keep catalog details clear about language, category, and format.

Transparent order handling

Invoices, tracking links, and shipping updates are communicated by email with no hidden process steps.

Clear return rules

Unopened books can be returned within the stated window, and damaged-in-transit orders are replaced or refunded.

Direct support

You reach a person by email, not a phone tree. We keep resolution simple and practical.

Customer responsibilities & order conditions

Order conditions

  • β€’Orders are confirmed after successful payment and the selected books are reserved for you.
  • β€’We may contact you if an edition becomes unavailable or a shipment route changes materially.
  • β€’Customers are responsible for verifying that imported printed matter is permitted in their jurisdiction.

Packaging & delivery

  • β€’Books are packed with rigid support and moisture protection appropriate for the edition type.
  • β€’Delivery windows are estimates, not guarantees, especially for international lanes and customs-sensitive destinations.
  • β€’If a parcel arrives damaged, send photos promptly so we can open a carrier claim and resolve it quickly.

Returns & refunds

  • β€’Unopened books may be returned within 14 days of delivery unless marked final sale or custom ordered.
  • β€’Return postage is typically the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
  • β€’Refunds go back to the original payment method once the return is received and inspected.

Catalog accuracy

  • β€’We work to keep metadata accurate, but cover art, printings, and minor publisher-side changes can vary.
  • β€’If an edition materially differs from what was ordered, contact us and we will make it right.

Non-returnable items

  • ⟑Used, damaged, or visibly worn books after delivery unless there was a documented shipping issue.
  • ⟑Special order titles or rare editions sourced specifically for a customer.
  • ⟑Digital goods or codes if those are offered in the future and already delivered.

Cancellation window

  • ⟑Orders can be cancelled before the parcel is packed and assigned a tracking number.
  • ⟑Address changes should be requested as early as possible and are not guaranteed once packing begins.
