Information we collect
We collect the details needed to provide the storefront and fulfil orders: name, email, telephone number, shipping and billing addresses, order history, account preferences, and messages sent to support. Payment card data is handled by our payment processors and is not stored by RusLibrary.

How we use it
We use personal information to process payments, reserve and ship books, send transactional updates, prevent fraud, answer support requests, improve catalog discovery, and comply with accounting or legal obligations.

Who receives data
Information is shared only when needed with service providers such as payment processors, commerce infrastructure, hosting and security providers, couriers, email delivery services, and analytics vendors. Each provider receives only the data required for its role.

Retention and security
We retain records only as long as needed for fulfilment, customer service, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Access is restricted and data is protected with encrypted transport, processor tokenization, and operational access controls.
- No online system can guarantee absolute security
- Inactive account and support records are reviewed for deletion or anonymization
- Order records may be retained longer where law requires it
