The discovery of a human skeleton in the garden of a country estate initiates Commissioner Van-In's investigation. It is revealed that the estate belonged to a charitable organization, but in reality, it was owned by an influential Bruges resident who ran a private brothel for the elite. The investigation is complicated by accusations against the commissioner, and soon a new, brutal murder occurs.
