Maxim Gorky's trilogy "Childhood. Among People. My Universities" is an autobiographical work that dynamically recreates the panorama of working Russia at the end of the 19th century. With genuine realism, the author depicts the fates of people from various social strata and professions, while simultaneously revealing the story of the protagonist's formation. Gorky compared this process to a beehive, where different people "brought, like bees, the honey of their knowledge and thoughts about life," enriching his soul.
