An ancient artifact, a flawless Sphere crafted by an Anglo-Saxon CraeftLord, has been lost for fifteen hundred years. This Sphere, made in memory of his beloved Spring, contains a spark from the Fires of Creation. While humans have forgotten such beliefs, the Hydden, a hidden folk, still remember. They send a young boy, Jack, to live among humans, hoping he can recover the lost Sphere. His path crosses with Katherine, whom he rescues from an accident, a meeting that sets them on a perilous journey into the Hyddenworld to discover their destiny and complete a great quest.
