Evidence indicates a significant number of children and adolescents utilize integrative therapies. Many pediatricians express willingness to refer patients for such treatments and desire more natural, safe, and effective options. However, training in this area remains limited for pediatricians. This volume provides a balanced, evidence-based approach to integrative therapy for childhood disorders and well-child care, merging alternative and complementary principles with conventional pediatrics. It examines effective and ineffective methods, offering practical guidance for physicians on incorporating integrative medicine and advising patients and parents on reasonable therapies.
