Vera Pavlovna Frolova's 'Search for Me in Russia' is an autobiographical account of her harrowing experiences as an 'Ostarbeiter' in Nazi Germany. The book includes the third and fourth parts of her diary, covering the years 1944 and 1945. Written on scraps of German fertilizer packaging, these entries were carefully preserved and prepared for publication by Frolova herself. Published in a hardcover edition by Azbuka in 2026, this powerful testimony offers a firsthand perspective on one of the most tragic episodes of the 20th century. The book is part of the Non-Fiction. Big Books series and is recommended for readers aged 16 and above.
