In the 32nd century, Francis Sandow, a former starship pilot and adventurer, is one of the wealthiest and nearly immortal individuals in the galaxy. He possesses the ability to shape planets from deadly worlds into habitable ones. However, he must confront an unknown enemy capable of infiltrating the subconscious. To do this, Francis must visit the Island of the Dead, a planet he once created. The situation is further complicated by a pandemic threatening the galaxy, caused by Dr. Heidel von Haimek.
