Inga Kuznetsova's sensational novel is written from the perspective of the main character of global news feeds – a thinking virus longing for humans. The plot considers both official and conspiratorial hypotheses about the spread of SARS-CoV-2. The protagonist enters the bodies of animals and then humans, offering a view of the human underside unlike any seen through anatomy or psychology. The virus, striving for connection, reveals paradoxical laws of this world: knowing is inseparable from consuming, and love is insatiable. The loving protagonist must also understand that he causes death.
