Jamie Hewlett
Artist Jamie Hewlett is a significant figure in contemporary pop culture, known for his work from the iconic Tank Girl comic to the virtual band Gorillaz. His career spans live-action animations, a Chinese contemporary opera, and exhibitions at venues like the Saatchi Gallery. Influenced by hip hop and zombie films, Hewlett co-created Tank Girl in the mid-1990s. He later collaborated with Damon Albarn to form the globally successful virtual pop group Gorillaz, which has achieved worldwide chart success and extensive sales.
