This 870x580 mm wall map displays the Northern and Southern hemispheres of the celestial sphere, showing the view of the night sky from the Earth's North and South Poles. The brightest stars forming constellations are coated with fluorescent paint. They charge under sunlight or electric light and shimmer in the dark, creating an illusion of the starry sky. Stars are ranked by apparent magnitude, with names of the brightest stars and outlines of all 88 constellations provided.
