This novel delves into the atmosphere of the Soviet Union, depicting times that have already become legendary. The plot centers on secret operations, the intrigues of those in power and their intelligence agencies, as well as the personal dramas of the characters. The narrative spans a wide range of events and locations, from Third Reich bunkers to Afghanistan, from Western bank accounts to offices in Moscow on the eve of Perestroika. The main protagonists face numerous trials, but their salvation comes from love, which itself is under threat.
