Following the events of Lazarus Planet, an unprecedented number of individuals now possess active metagenes. Many of these new metahumans are outcasts, shunned and imprisoned by a fearful society. Hidden away, they are lost to a system that views them as weapons or test subjects. The Unstoppable Doom Patrol is tasked with saving them. Led by Crazy Jane's new alter, The Chief, the team includes Robotman, Elasti-Woman, and Negative Man, joined by newcomers Beast Girl and Degenerate. Their mission is to save the world by saving its monsters.
