Following the attack on Pearl Harbor, the lives of fourteen Japanese-American teenagers are irrevocably altered. Facing newspaper articles, hostile stares, curfews, and forced relocation, they are sent to internment camps. Amidst the global conflict of World War II, they must grapple with their identity as citizens when their own country confines them behind barbed wire. In a world that seems determined to hate them, their only recourse is to rely on each other.
