In the quiet town of Malodvinsk, the chilling legend of Varlaam's curse persists, tied to a bell broken and melted down a century ago. It is said that all involved and their descendants are doomed. The murder of Vika Uglovskaya, the last of those marked for death, is attributed to this ancient curse, though not everyone believes it.
