Закрывая глаза, герой видит расплывчатое нечто, отрывающееся от камня. Открыв их, он обнаруживает пустоту, но при повторном закрытии нечто стремительно приближается. Инстинктивно вскинув карабин и стреляя с закрытыми глазами, он обнаруживает в себе отточенные навыки стрельбы, будто заложенные с детства. Нечто падает к ногам, и перед ним проявляется облик неведомой твари: черная чешуя, перепончатые крылья, огромные клыки и рогатая голова. Удачный выстрел спасает жизнь, едва не оборвавшуюся.

Closing his eyes, the protagonist perceives a blurry entity detaching from a stone. Upon opening them, he finds nothing, but when he closes them again, the entity rushes towards him. Instinctively raising a carbine and firing with his eyes shut, he discovers well-honed shooting skills, as if ingrained from childhood. The creature falls at his feet, revealing its form: black scales, webbed wings, enormous fangs, and a horned head. A successful shot saves his life, narrowly avoiding a fatal encounter.
