This volume presents the author’s interpretation of Slavic pagan beliefs and myths, focusing mainly on the western branches of the culture. Written originally in 1906, the work is offered here in its first Russian translation, enriched with contemporary scholarly commentary. Ruzhichka argues for the cultural and linguistic unity of all Slavic peoples in the face of historical challenges, drawing on ethnographic, historical and other sources.
