This screenplay novel is based on the full author's version of the script for the film of the same name. The plot covers several days in the life of Vladimir Vysotsky during his tour in Uzbekistan, a period marked by clinical death. The poet, facing the brink of life and death, desperately fights for the opportunity to live life to the fullest.
Concurrently, a tense situation unfolds involving KGB actions aimed at restricting Vysotsky and his loved ones. Amidst these challenges, acts of baseness and betrayal are contrasted with loyalty, nobility, and compassion.
