Viktor Sigalov creates morphoscripts β interactive dreams that replace traditional entertainment. He harbors a secret ambition to create a virtual reality indistinguishable from the real world. Unexpectedly, Viktor receives an assignment to test a complex morphoscript from an unfamiliar corporation. Upon examination, he discovers the author has realized his dream: the interactive dream depicts the future, several days ahead of reality, and predicts a global catastrophe.
