Artist Toni finds herself staying in a house where her friend Freya has arranged for her to reside. There, she encounters Scott Elstrom, Freya's brother and the owner of the house. His unexpected arrival coincides with Toni's bachelorette party. Scott informs Toni that his father is ill, and he is now the head of the family company. He reveals that the portrait of the business head, commissioned by Freya, is no longer needed. Despite this, Toni decides not to give up, needing the money and, though she may not admit it, desiring the handsome, bearded man.
